THE SPA AT THE SERENO LAKE COMO

Far before George Clooney would ride his bike around it on impromptu trips from his lavish villa, Lake Como has been one of the favourite retreats of the Milanese society. It is not surprising that the Sereno Group (the one responsible for the Sereno St.Barths) has chosen the glam Italian location for its first property in Europe. Voted “Europe´s Best Luxurious New Hotel” by Bloomberg and characterized by the privacy, spectacular design, understated luxury and impeccable service typical of the brand, the all-suites hotel boasts breath-taking views, interiors by Patricia Urquiola, vertical gardens by botanist Patric Blanc, a restaurant by Michelin-starred chef Andrea Berton, a fresh water infinity pool and a private beach from where to explore the lake on ultra-sleek wooden boats by Riva. Hosted by the former boathouse and transformed by Urquiola in an original and stylish space, the Spa is perched on the water, with cabins overlooking the lake and a relaxation area with a pool. Luxury soins and rituals are signed by Valmont, the Swiss skincare company originally founded on Lake Leman in 1905 to help people to destress and heal from skin injuries. Experience transformative facials such as the Radiance Ritual, where vitamin C rich cosmetics are used, for an immediate and lasting glow (60 minutes, euro 210, 90 minutes euro 225). Or acquire total relaxation with the Harmony Il Sereno Ritual, especially created by the brand for this destination, a luxurious massage combining Asain techniques, acupressure, meridian balancing and stretching, for a blissful state of body & mind (60 min, 160 euro). An every treatment can be enjoyed in the privacy of one´s own suite. Luxury indeed: George and Amal would approve.
